We hired Blessing to pick us up from the airport and drive us to Stellenbosch. He was waiting for us when we arrived, waited patiently while we got our eSIMs set up on our phones, and chatted with us about all we were interested in knowing during the drive. The vehicle was spacious, clean and comfortable, and Blessing’s driving was smooth and pleasant. Best of all, Blessing made us feel extremely comfortable and was easy to talk to, so much so that we scheduled a drive to the beach the following Saturday and asked Blessing to drive us. Because we are new to the area, we requested a nearby beach and a pretty drive ending at Hermanus. Blessing suggested a stop at Gordon’s Bay, then a scenic coastal drive to Hermanus with the mountain route home. It was stunning! He helped us time the stops so that we were able to fit in everything we wanted to see and do. When the whale watching tour we wanted to book was full, Blessing found another company that had openings and read reviews to be sure they were reputable. We were able to book with them and had a great experience seeing whales. As we drove home we heard about a number of tour options that Blessing has developed, and we now have a list of experiences we would like to book with Blessing. The 8 hour day was stress free and so enjoyable. In short, we have made a lasting friendship with Blessing. We’ve learned so much about Stellenbosch and the surrounding areas, but we also connected on a personal level.
